Another Toaster!

This is actually my fifth Toaster sweater, but it’s the first I have made for myself, and the first Version 2 I have made. I made it out of this amazing dark charcoal gray French terry from Girl Charlee Fabrics and it’s very cozy. I made the size large and ended up ripping out the sleeves and re-cutting the shoulders and sleeves to fit it a bit better. I think I would even make a size small next time. It was perfect over my Monroe turtleneck with my black Gingers (and of course my trusty red boots)!

I do think I prefer Version 1 with its higher, more turtleneck-style collar. But I do really  like the split hem of Version 2. For a Christmas present for my mom this year I actually mashed the patterns to make just this and it came out great! I made it in a navy and white striped French terry and it looks great on my mom!
